2008 Syrah – Dry Creek Valley

This powerful, rich, aromatic Syrah was sourced from steep slopes above the Dry Creek Valley. The long, warm growing season of 2008 allowed for optimum ripeness, allowing Syrah to display its classic personality. The color is a dark black/red. Aromas of blackberry compote, dark chocolate, cumin, rosemary, white pepper, and flowers are echoed on the palate in waves of rich, powerful fruit. The finish is dense and long, with tannins that are almost completely enveloped by the fruit. Wine Profile:
